A CD player using belt drive system.
A belt drive mechanism unique to CEC is adopted for the mechanism part.
In this system, by separating the spindle motor, which rotates the disk, from the mechanism chassis, vibration and electromagnetic noise generated by the motor itself are absorbed and blocked from the root.
In addition, the pickup unit is placed in the center of the housing and a special anti-vibration material is attached to the lower chassis to absorb and block the sound pressure from the speaker and micro vibration from inside and outside.
By using a 300 gram weight class stabilizer in the innermost part, warping and vibration of the disc during performance are minimized.
In addition, by effectively utilizing the moment of inertia of the stabilizer via the belt to the low-torque spindle motor, we have achieved stabilization of angular velocity without being affected by motor current fluctuations and servo errors by taking advantage of our own flywheel effect, which enables quieter and smoother rotation than ordinary CD players.
For the D/A conversion part, SM5865CM made by NPC Co. corresponding to 24bit/192kHz is adopted.
In addition, a 0. 3nsec ultra-high-speed memory device is installed at the input of the DAC circuit to enable ultra-high-speed digital transmission with virtually no jitter. In addition, a linear flat filter is used to eliminate ringing distortion that occurs in a pulsatile waveform, thereby realizing sound quality without digital smell.
In addition, the IV converter is a passive type, and the analog section is a fully balanced non-feedback circuit, realizing single-end pure class A operation.
Each stage of the power supply section is equipped with a large power supply equipped with a power supply enhancer, providing a quiet and stable power supply. Especially around the DAC, the digital and analog sections are completely separated.
We have also adopted our own time-constant amplifier, whose supply speed is not affected by the performance of transformers and capacitors, to reduce noise level and increase speed.
In addition to coaxial and optical digital outputs, AES/EBU (XLR) and CEC superlink are incorporated.
The CEC Superlink can transmit audio and clock data separately without passing through SPDIF encoding, thereby minimizing degradation of sound quality.
Wireless remote control is included.
