Commentary

Turntable with 4 rotational speeds selectable.

A 4-pole induction motor is used as the drive motor.
This motor is designed especially for professional use, and it drastically reduces uneven rotation and vibration.
The rotor is strictly microbalanced by a dynamic balancing machine, and the motor is inspected by a vibration detector before setup.
The motor is mechanically insulated from the panel by using cushion rubber.

The turntable is made of Lautal type light alloy castings, and in particular, the rim is given weight and precision processing is applied.

Special steel is used for the main shaft after being hardened and polished, and one point support system by steel ball and hardened steel plate thrust is used for the lowest end.
The bearings are made of high-grade gunmetal material that has been processed with precision and wrapped to achieve smooth rotation.
In addition, a lubrication hole is provided in the upper part of the bearing.

A single knob rotation system with screw cam unique to CEC is adopted for speed switching.

The idler is made of neoplane rubber with the optimum hardness after molding and polishing.
At the stop position, the idler is completely released from the turntable and motor pulley.

Equipped with a speed fine adjustment mechanism, the rated speed can be corrected to the correct speed by operating the fine adjustment knob when the rated speed cannot be obtained due to fluctuations in power supply frequency or voltage.

In the stop position, turn off the power of the motor by pressing the micro switch.
The switch is sealed in a baking case and has a quick break mechanism with silver contacts.

An RC network is installed to eliminate the shut-off noise emitted from the speaker when the motor circuit is turned on and off.

Light alloy is used for the 10 mm thick panel.

The FR 160 is divided into 50 Hz and 60 Hz, each frequency is precisely balanced with a pulley attached, and the starting capacitors have different capacities.
