Commentary
A pre-main amplifier with CEC's unique LEF circuit and IGM volume control.
The LEF (Load Effect Free) circuit is a pure class A amplifier structure that employs a single-ended circuit that processes signals with only one voltage amplifier stage and one current amplifier stage. This LEF circuit enables stable amplification with good linearity, eliminates the need for an NFB loop, and realizes a straight and shortest signal path.
In addition, it is equipped with an automatic bias adjustment function to realize stable signal processing that is not affected by power supply voltage fluctuations.
The newly developed IGM (Intelligent Gain Management) is incorporated to minimize loss during volume control.
In IGM, the volume is adjusted by controlling the gain itself with the center volume element, and the input music signal does not pass through the volume resistor, attenuator, or CMOS-type volume, so noise and distortion are greatly reduced.
A fully balanced circuit design realizes high-speed and low-distortion transmission.
In addition, the left and right music signals are processed by a circuit that separates them into two layers to reduce mutual interference.
The input terminal is equipped with one balanced XLR terminal in addition to four unbalanced RCA terminals.
For the speaker output terminal, a banana plug or Y-lug can be connected, and a coated terminal with safety consideration is used.
The power supply cable is detachable.
There are 2 variations, black and silver.
