Commentary

A large speaker system with 14 speaker units.

In the low range, it is equipped with 4 B-199A which is 30 cm cone type woofer.
A cone made of pulp and paper and wool is used for the diaphragm, and a variable density system is used. The density is highest in the central part and decreases as it goes to the periphery. This prevents interference due to flapping and reflection of propagating waves and provides a constant response.

Two 16 cm cone type mid-range B-209 are installed in the mid-range.
The diaphragm has a structure in which light aluminum is sandwiched between two thin neoprene rubber films. The center and periphery are processed into a stepped shape to realize a clear and natural sound.

8 B-200Y which are 5 cm cone type tweeters are mounted in the high range.
The cone is placed on a foam rubber platform to damp spurious peaks and vibrations. Similarly, ranges above 10 kHz are handled by a 2 cm aluminum center dome. This is based on the principle that the diameter of the cone must not exceed the wavelength of the maximum reproduction frequency.

An N-104 crossover network is used in the network section.

The enclosure is hermetically sealed.
The front baffle has a solid construction and well dumped 4.8m³It is 3.8 cm thick at the front half on both sides of the baffle and at the top and bottom of the enclosure.
The mid-range and woofer are completely separate structures.
The front has an arch frame structure and the exterior is finished with a matte walnut finish.
