Commentary
An adres compatible cassette deck that supports metal tapes.
It is equipped with an adres originally developed by Aurex as a noise reduction system.
By compressing and expanding the signal, the hissing is reduced to an inaudible level. Moreover, by greatly expanding the dynamic range, excellent playback sound is realized.
The PC-X80AD also has a Dolby noise reduction system.
Adres and cannot be used simultaneously.
Equipped with a dedicated position corresponding to metal tape.
The AS head has excellent abrasion resistance and magnetic characteristics, and achieves high sound quality.
In addition, a ferrite head with a high erasure rate is adopted for erasure.
The meter uses a 201 segment plasma type bar graph meter.
By setting it to 201 segments / ch, it is possible to read finely like an analog type even from a remote place.
A 2-motor IC logic control system is adopted for the operation part to improve stability and operability.
It uses a special hold mechanism and holds tapes securely with 4 chucks.
