Commentary

Stereo cassette deck with PLL-controlled DC servo motor.

A PLL-controlled DC servo motor is used for the capstan drive, and a DC motor with limiter circuit is used for the reel drive. It is composed of two motors.
The PC 6030 employs a special phase control method that employs a PLL IC in this circuit. This method quickly detects the difference between the stable oscillation frequency characteristic of PLL and the rotational frequency of the motor, and controls the drive voltage to a constant value. This method has the advantage of high rotational accuracy and low speed deviation between the beginning and end of winding.

The drive system uses a closed-loop dual capstan system to keep the tape running between the capstan and capstan at a constant tension, thereby suppressing speed changes and uneven friction caused by torque differences between the feed reel and the take-up reel and accuracy of the cassette half.

IC logic feather touch operation system is adopted for the operation system, and light operability is realized by using an electronic switch circuit.
In this system, there are no mechanical contacts such as relays, and control instructions are directly transmitted from the digital IC and transistor to the plunger and motor. In addition, by adopting the IC logic circuit, it is possible to directly enter desired operation without pressing the stop button every time.

Equipped with timer standby function, it is possible to record absence by combining with a timer sold separately.

It is equipped with functions such as autoplay which automatically starts playback running after rewinding, Oatley wind which automatically starts rewinding at the tape end, autocounter which stops rewinding running at the desired position, and repeat playback which continuously performs autoplay.
It is also equipped with a counter repeat playback function so that repeat playback can be performed from the desired location.

The head section is composed of two heads, and the recording / reproducing head uses a micron head F with ferrite core. This head has high gap processing accuracy and has acquired excellent phase characteristics.
It also uses a direct coupling method that directly amplifies the voltage induced by the head, preventing the sound quality from deteriorating between the head and amplifier.

Equipped with peak level meter of decibel display.

The Dolby System is installed as a noise reduction system.
In addition, it is equipped with a 400 Hz reference tone oscillator for fine adjustment of Dolby level.

Equipped with 19 kHz MPX filter to prevent malfunction of Dolby system.

Two levels of bias and equalizer can be selected.

Microphone and line mixing recording is possible.

Equipped with a LED tape travel indicator lamp.
