Commentary
A 3-head cassette deck with 3 power supplies.
A 3-head configuration has been adopted for the head section, and high quality recording has been achieved by ensuring the characteristics required for each head.
In addition, simultaneous recording and monitoring is possible only with 3 heads.
It is equipped with a scrape filter to reduce modulation noise that causes distortion.
A high-precision roller with a ruby bearing is placed behind the erasing head so that the tape path is shortened and the moment of inertia of the roller itself absorbs the slight vibration of the tape.
Equipped with a 6 kHz oscillator, it can adjust the azimuth to adjust the verticality of the head.
The recording sensitivity of the tape can also be adjusted with a 440 Hz oscillator.
Uses a 3-power supply system with a built-in DC-DC converter.
The installed DC converter is a highly efficient converter that operates in the input voltage range of 7 to 16 v. It can be used with 8 single dry cells (10 hours continuous use) or car battery (with car adapter) with DC power supply. It is a component deck with 100 v AC (with AC adapter).
Equipped with a wide range peak level meter of -40dB to + 6 db.
In addition, a meter light switch with lock position is mounted.

The PC 4280 can be combined with a microphone mixer MX 4280 and an active speaker SS 4280 w to create a mini-studio feel.
The MX 4280 Microphone Mixer is capable of mixing with six microphones or combining up to six microphones and lines (Phono2ch). It also features low-cut and high-cut filters, a 30-dB microphone attenuator, a level meter that displays the mixing level, and a 3-power supply.
The SS-10W active speaker system has a built-in monaural amplifier with a rated output of 4280 w and can be connected to the output terminal on the deck.
