Commentary
High-CP type adres unit.
The adres is a noise reduction system originally developed by Aurex.
This method compresses and expands the signal so that the hissing can be reduced to an almost inaudible level, and the dynamic range can be greatly expanded, resulting in better playback sound.
The adres noise reduction level at 10 kHz is approximately -60dB at adres-out and -90dB at adres-in. This improves the S/N ratio by approximately 30 dB. In terms of the dynamic range at 1 kHz, the maximum recording level at adres-in is increased by 7 dB to + 15 dB, and the noise level is also reduced to -85dB. In addition, since the maximum recording level is increased, the distortion is significantly reduced by 1 / 6.
Equipped with a calibration indicator that turns on for easy viewing.
It has a recording level volume.
There are 2 color variations, black type AD-3 and silver type AD-3S.
