Commentary

A stereo power amplifier that can be used as a monaural power amplifier with BTL connection.

The SC-M15 adopts a DC-configuration of 2-stage and all-stage direct-coupled pure complimentary service OCL and a single-push-pull configuration in consideration of sound quality.

With a built-in phase-reversal circuit, this amplifier can be used not only as a normal stereo power amplifier but also as a monaural power amplifier using a BTL connection. With a BTL (balanced / no TRANSFORMERS) connection, connect the speaker cord using only the positive side of the output jack and turn on the BTL switch on the front.

A large toroidal transformer is used for the power supply. In order to prevent class B waveforms from jumping into class A circuits, the winding of class A circuits is separated, and a constant voltage circuit is provided for driving.
The electrolytic capacitor uses 10,000 μ Fx2.

It is equipped with a protection circuit using newly developed IC (TA-7317P).
This circuit protects the transistor in the event of an output short, and protects the speaker in the event of DC appearing.

In order to solve the problem of poor heat radiation conditions by reducing the size of the power amplifier, we have adopted an aluminum die-cast monocoque body in which a large heat radiation fin and cabinet are integrally molded.

The V-Con vertical non-inductive film condenser developed from Rolex amplifier technology is used, and 70 μ m thick PC board is used.

Screw-type terminals are used for speaker terminals, and gold-plated terminals are used for input terminals.
There is also a headphone port on the front.
