AR-4XA
Commentary

This bookshelf speaker system is the upgraded model of the AR-4x.

It uses a 20 cm cone woofer for the low range and a 3.8 cm cone tweeter for the high range.

It is equipped with a level control for the high frequency band.

The enclosure uses an acoustic suspension system.
This method was invented by Edgar Villechier and was developed to eliminate the disadvantages of conventional speakers, especially the high harmonic distortion at low frequencies. This method uses strong cone paper and a completely sealed box with no air leakage and resonance to reduce parasitic finger motion and distortion during low frequency reproduction.

The exterior is finished with a walnut oil finish.
