Speaker system using professional coaxial 2-way unit 950-8B.

The 950. 0-8B is a 2-way speaker unit that inherits Altech Lansing's Duplex technology, consisting of a 15 inch (38 cm) woofer with a heat-resistant voice coil, a throat through the center, a flower pedal horn, and a 1-inch compression driver.
The unique flower pedal horn has a nominal 90-degree directional pattern in both horizontal and vertical directions. In addition, the shape of the directional range of the horn is almost square compared to the elliptical shape, making it possible to obtain the same sound quality as that of the axis over a wide range of the listening area.

Designed by computer simulation based on Teal & Small theory and hearing from experienced engineers, the enclosure is a bass-reflex type and is made of 18 mm thick carefully selected employment of birch veneer, widely used in professional speakers.
