Commentary
This speaker system is the first of Altec's new dynamic force series.
38 cm cone type woofer 411-8A is mounted in the low range.
In the high-frequency range, a horn type unit using a driver 808 to 8 a and a horn 511B is mounted.
N-501-8A is used for the network.
The enclosure is sealed, and the front is equipped with a grating grill separated from the Miomote.
The exterior has a walnut finish.
The 2873A incorporates a 873A electronic crossover bi-amplifier on the back panel of the 770A and is used by connecting the output of the preamplifier with a pin jack.
