Commentary

Speaker system designed as a full-fledged professional monitor using 604-8H.

The 604-8H 38 cm coaxial type speaker unit is installed in the middle and high range.
In the 604 / 8 h series, the high-frequency characteristics have been improved by introducing Altec's original Mantare Horn as well as the new "Tangerine" radial phase plug.

The low range is equipped with 38 cm cone type woofer 416-8BSW developed exclusively for 6041.
The vibration system of the 416-8BSW has been improved compared with the conventional one, and the texture and sense of volume in the low sound range are improved.

Equipped with a horn-type tweeter 6041-ST designed exclusively for the 6041 for the ultra-high band, it realizes the response improvement in the ultra-high band.

Alnico V magnet is used for the magnetic circuit of all units.

The network section is equipped with a dedicated network that takes into consideration phase differences.
In addition, it can be adjusted by installing a level control for middle, high, and ultra high frequencies.

The enclosure uses a bass reflex system.
The port shape, internal volume, reinforcement, etc. are designed based on computer analysis, and the box noise is suppressed by the use of 25 mm thick super-hard particleboards subjected to high compression treatment.
