M-8
Commentary

Tape deck equipped with cross field head and vertical stereo system.

Cross-field head is used for the head part.
This head has a structure in which two heads are placed facing each other with a tape sandwiched between them. By this structure, the magnetic field emitted from each head is crossed for recording, making it possible to record in a wide band.
A special alloy is used for the holder of the recording and reproducing head to keep it stable.
In addition, the crossfield head for bias does not come into direct contact with the tape, so it does not wear.

Equipped with a vertical stereo system.
The M-8 has two internal speakers mounted on the top of the case so that when used vertically, the sound from the internal speakers is reflected by the ceiling to create a vertical sound source.
By installing speakers in the left and right channels and placing an M-8 in the center, the stereo sound from four sound sources spreads throughout the room.

Equipped with sound on sound function.

The tape deck and amplifier are designed to be independent, and can be used as a Hi-Fi electric storage by simply adding a record player.

Equipped with a tape cleaner.
The tape cleaner installed on the M-8 removes dust and iron oxide powder attached to recording tapes, and removes noise generated during recording and playback.

Recording of FM multiplex broadcasting is possible.

The motor of the mechanism section is equipped with a 2-speed hysteresis synchronous motor.

Equipped with automatic stop and complete shut-off mechanism.

Equipped with an instantaneous stop lever.

It is equipped with a large VU meter and 4-digit tape counter.

Equipped with a DIN jack.

It is equipped with a heat control mechanism to ensure stable performance.

It can be horizontal or vertical.

There was a speaker system SS-110 sold separately.
This speaker is designed for the M-8.
