Commentary
Auto-reverse stereo tape recorder with cross field head and 3-motor configuration.
Cross-field head is used for the head part.
In the crossfield method, the signal current is designed to be applied to the recording head and the bias current is designed to be applied to the outer bias-only head, and these heads are positioned in a predetermined spatial position relative to each other, so that the signal recorded on the tape with the applied bias field can be recorded without being adversely affected by the bias field, preventing the signal once recorded from being erased or weakened by the influence of the wide bias field.
The S/N ratio of the shield head is also improved.
Equipped with a playback reverse function using sensing tape.
When a sensing tape is inserted in the tape to be used and played back, it automatically rotates in the reverse direction when the sensing pin touches the tape. By using this function, repeated playback between A and B is also possible.
It also has a manual reverse function using the reverse button.
A hysteresis synchronous 3-speed motor is used for the capstan drive motor.
In addition, two 6-pole outer rotor motors are used for the reel.
Equipped with automatic stop and automatic shutoff.
When the tape reaches the fully wound or unwound position, the automatic shut-off lever automatically drops and the tape stops automatically. In this case, only the operation of the mechanism is stopped with automatic stop, and the power supply is also turned off with automatic shut-off.
It is also equipped with an automatic pinch roller release mechanism designed to automatically move the pinch roller away from the capstan shaft during automatic stop or automatic shut-off. This keeps the pinch roller in close contact with the capstan shaft to prevent wear of rubber and deformation of the shaft.
Equipped with an automatic lever release mechanism, the automatic shut-off lever falls as soon as the tape is completely wound and the rapid forward / rewind knob automatically returns to the stop position.
An amplifier circuit using two ICs is mounted.
The track selector allows you to switch between stereo and monaural.
Equipped with tone control.
Equipped with a 4-digit tape counter with reset button.
Equipped with a VU meter.
Equipped with a universal power supply voltage switching device, it can be freely changed between AC100V ~ 240 V.
Can be used horizontally and vertically.
Two 10cmx15cm cone type speaker units are installed in the speaker section.
There were 2 kinds of variations, a leather case and a wood case.
