This is a Quick Reverse Stereo Cassette Deck with 0.3 second quick reverse achieved by original technology such as infrared tape sensor.

When the magnetic tape ends and the next reader tape passes through, the infrared tape sensor installed just before the recording / reproducing head detects the reader tape, and the reverse mechanism operates immediately.
This method greatly reduces the sound gap to 0.3 seconds, enabling smooth reverse playback.

A bi-counter capstan drive system is employed to achieve uniform tape running characteristics in both normal and reverse directions.
In this system, dedicated capstan shafts and pinch rollers are provided on the outward and return paths, respectively, so that uniform characteristics can be maintained in both directions, and at the same time, good start-up is possible when the tape is reversed.

In order to improve sound quality both on the outward and homeward routes, we have thoroughly reviewed the tape travel mechanism. We have adopted a unique travel mechanism that separates the tape guide from the head and further widens the contact surface between the tape guide and the tape.
Infrared tape sensors and erasing heads also serve as tape guides, eliminating tape deflection and uneven crimping at the head that directly affect sound quality.

Equipped with a reverse selector, recording / re-recording, one round trip recording / re-recording, continuous playback, etc. can be selected according to the adjusted position.

It is equipped with Dolby NR system which suppresses the hissing peculiar to tape.

Equipped with a 4-position tape selector, you can select the appropriate bias and equalizer for each tape.

The input circuits for microphone and line are independent, and each can be selected with a selector.
For line recording, the SN ratio is improved because the line input is sent directly to the recording amplifier without going through the microphone amplifier.

Equipped with an output volume that can adjust the volume of headphones.

It is equipped with a peak level indicator that responds quickly at + 7 dB to large instantaneous input signals that cannot be detected by VU meters alone.

Built-in recording mute function.

By combining the separately sold timer, it is possible to record the absence and play the alarm clock.
