Commentary
Stereo cassette deck with combination DX head and Dolby C type.
The head part uses a combination DX head developed from the 3-head system.
In this DX head, the degradation of frequency characteristics in the high-frequency range due to eddy current loss is improved by laminating six cores. At the same time, the waviness of frequency characteristics in the low-frequency range called the contour effect is also improved to realize wide-band reproduction.
In addition, Sendust is used for the guard part and hard composite material is used for the core spacer to improve wear resistance.
As a noise reduction system, in addition to the conventional Dolby B, it is equipped with Dolby C type.
The Dolby C type, the built-in anti-frequency circuit improves the tape saturation characteristics in the high-frequency range, and eliminates the negative effects on sound quality caused by conventional noise reduction systems such as the saturation phenomenon.
A DC servo motor is used for the mechanism.
In addition, the capstan has undergone a special treatment called micrograin processing to improve its crimping ability with the pinch roller and to increase take-up torque. At the same time, it is possible to apply an appropriate amount of back tension by devising the shape of the head.
It is equipped with an automatic demagnetizing system ADMS (Automatic Demagnetizing System) in order to prevent adverse effects caused by head magnetization.
Equipped with a 3-stage tape selector of LH, CrO2 and Metal. Also equipped with a bias fine adjustment mechanism for LH tapes.
It is equipped with a music sensor and cue & review mechanism that automatically detects unrecorded parts between songs.

Equipped with MPX filter that can be turned on / off.
Equipped with timer standby mechanism, and by connecting a timer sold separately, it is possible to record absence and play alarm clock.
