Commentary
Quick Reverse Deck for continuous recording of long-duration programs.
The AD-F700R uses infrared rays to detect the last part of the magnetic tape and realizes a quick reverse of approximately 0.4 seconds. If the quick reverse does not work for some tapes, the end reverse is used to reverse the tape.
In addition, the Quick Reverse Key is included to prevent the reverse from working in the area where tapes with severe creases or wrinkles are used. When this switch is on, it also switches to end reverse.
In order to achieve uniform reciprocal travel, the recording / reproducing head is rotated 180 degrees. The head is also rotated 180 degrees at the instant of tape reversal without fixing the head, so that the correct azimuth is maintained in both directions. In addition, in order to minimize mechanical switching noise at the moment of reverse, the inertia energy of the flywheel is utilized, so that quiet head rotation is achieved.
You can the purpose and content of recording and playback, you can choose from three types of driving modes : single-side recording / playback, single-round recording / playback, and double-A / B repeated endless playback.
We have adopted a dual motor drive system that uses an FG motor exclusively for the capstan and a DC motor exclusively for reel winding.
In addition, the seesaw mechanism of the erasing head is adopted. In the reverse deck, two erasing heads are used for reciprocating operation. However, the unused erasing head is lowered later by the seesaw system, so that it does not affect driving and suppresses the increase of flutter components.
The Sendust guard head with high saturation magnetic flux density, excellent abrasion resistance and high-frequency characteristics is adopted for the recording / reproducing head, and the contour effect (low-frequency waviness) is greatly improved by newly adopting a hyperboloid shape.
Double-gap Sendust head is used for the erasing head.
By adopting logic control and plunger mechanism, click touch operation is realized.
Equipped with a VU meter and a 3-point peak indicator. The peak is + 10 dB / + 6 dB / + 4 dB 3-point LED display + 10 shows the maximum allowable peak value of metal, + 6 shows LH, and + 4 shows CrO2 tape. This makes level adjustment easy.
Equipped with a one touch tape selection function, automatically selects metal tape when the metal switch is turned ON, and LH or CrO2 when the metal switch is turned OFF.
Equipped with a Dolby system with built-in MPX filter.
Equipped with timer standby mechanism, and by connecting a timer sold separately, it is possible to record absence and play alarm clock.
Equipped with a remote control terminal for connection to a separately sold remote control unit.
