Commentary

A stereo cassette deck equipped with multipeak indicators and tape level meters.

In order to improve the stability and durability of the transport part, a smooth operating system that does not impose an excessive load on each mechanism part is adopted.
A gear drive system that converts rotational motion into linear motion, a roller system is used for the head slide chassis, polyacetal resin is used for the slide contacts to minimize friction, and a balanced back tension system is used for the tape drive system that constantly balances the load applied to the mechanism and the head touch with the total balance of the spring.

Uses a 38-pulse FG servo motor.
In addition, stainless steel (SUS420J) is used for the main parts such as the capstan, pinch roller fulcrum, idler lever, and drive lever shaft. The capstan is made of high-precision stainless steel with a roundness of less than 0.05 μ m. The bearings are made of high-purity copper-based oil-less metal. In addition, special polishing flat belt and a center-driven reel spindle that rotates around the center of the cassette hub are used to increase the stability.

Equipped with bias fine adjustment mechanism for LH tape.
This mechanism can be used in the LH position of the bias to improve the sound quality of normal tapes with narrow high frequencies or to compensate for the sound of LH tapes.

In addition to the conventional VU meter, it is equipped with a multipeak indicator.
A total of nine LEDs display green from -15dB to -7dB, yellow from -3dB to + 2 dB, and red from + 4 dB to + 7 dB for more accurate monitoring.

It is equipped with a tape remaining meter, and when the switch is pressed, the rotational speed of the supply reel is detected and the remaining time of the tape is displayed in meter.
This function is available for C-30 to C-120 tapes and large hub tapes.

Equipped with a Rec Mute mechanism that allows you to create an unrecorded space between songs.
It is also equipped with a muting time indicator, which blinks approximately every one second during rec mute.

Equipped with timer standby mechanism. By combining with a separately sold timer, it is possible to record absence and play alarm clock.

Equipped with a sync operation mechanism, if it is connected to Aiwa's player with a Rec Sync terminal, the player and deck start / stop simultaneously when recording.

Built-in memory counter and quick review queue function.

Ferrite guard head is used for the head.

Equipped with a pure electronic full auto-stop mechanism.

It has a playback volume.

Front-side line-in jacks

Equipped with Mic (L + R) jack capable of monaural recording with one microphone.

Equipped with a line and microphone selector switch.

Equipped with a Dolby system with built-in MPX filter.
