Commentary
Horn type tweeter for high frequency band developed as the first of new Golden Series (G series).
The previous G series was produced only for overseas markets. This G series was mainly sold in the US as a sister product based on the 5 digit series (18000, 35000, 55000) which was the highest quality product of YL sound.
The new G series was developed not as a domestic version of products for export, but as a new product with a new design and manufacturing process from selection of materials.
Lead is used for the horn part to eliminate resonance.
This horn was also sold separately.
The diaphragm has high durability and durability while being prepared for large-volume demand. In order to improve sound quality and stability, the latest technology is applied to the mounting method of the diaphragm, including the mounting of the voice coil, so that the fluctuation of performance is suppressed.
The equalizer section has also been improved to obtain an ideal optimum value even in the minute gap between the equalizer and the diaphragm.
The new Permendur magnet is used as a large ring magnet because it requires a large magnet to obtain a high magnetic flux density close to the theoretical saturation value.
