Commentary
A 4-band digital synthesizer tuner that can receive not only FM/AM radio broadcast but also VHF/UHF television broadcast audio.
TV audio reception is available not only for music program stereo broadcast transmission but also for switching between main sound channel and second audio program.
In addition, by adopting the same linear phase IF amplifier and low distortion rate detector as the TX 2000, excellent characteristics have been obtained.
A multi-tuning system is installed to enable accurate and speedy channel selection.
In addition to 2 types of tuning (auto / manual), 24 station random preset memories are installed. Up to 24 TV/AM/FM stations can be registered and the target station can be called directly.
Uses an LCD display with reduced noise generation.
Timer program by external timer is supported.
Yamaha's original RS remote control allows control with RS remote controls such as the AVX 2000 DSP / AVX 1050 AV amplifier and the AX-1 pre-main amplifier.
