Commentary
FM/AM tuner with a simple circuit structure.
A low-noise junction FET is used for the front end to improve the image interference ratio and spurious interference ratio.
The IF stage is equipped with a high-gain IC differential amplifier composed of a constant current bias circuit and a 6-element ceramic filter. Excellent characteristics are obtained by checking the phase characteristics using Yamaha's original differential gain direct-viewing method.
The MPX circuit uses an IC-based double balanced differential demodulation circuit.
