¥ 80,000 (1 unit, released in 1992)
Commentary
A subwoofer with an internal volume of 38L and low-frequency playback of 20 Hz using the YST system.
The unit is equipped with 25 cm cone type woofer.
This unit is made of spruce material and the magnetic circuit is designed with double magnets for protection against magnetic field, so it can be installed near the monitor.
The cabinet uses 20 mm thick high density particleboards.
The amplifier section is the same as that of the YST-SW1000 with dedicated tuning.
If you want to change the settings for music playback or AV playback, you can store up to three combinations of volume, cutoff frequency, and phase and change them with one touch using the remote control.
The cut-off frequency can be set to any position from 40 Hz to 140 Hz depending on the type of speaker to be paired with. A phase selector switch is also, which can be switched between positive and negative phases depending on the sound preference.
