Commentary
A subwoofer that uses the advanced YST method.
In the YST method, the internal woofer unit is driven by a negative resistance circuit using a low-sound reproduction technology that applies the Helmholtz resonance principle, and small amplitude inside the enclosure is extracted from the port as large amplitude sound pressure.
In the advanced YST method, the linearity at the maximum sound pressure is improved by changing the negative resistance circuit to a variable type while maintaining the characteristics of the YST method.
The unit uses 2 20 cm sprue scone type woofers.
A discrete power amplifier with a rated output of 150 output of W.
MDF material is used for the enclosure and the baffle thickness is 18 mm.
Equipped with a B. A. S. S mode switching function that allows you to select the optimum characteristics depending on the sound source of the music or cinema.
It is also equipped with a continuously variable high-cut frequency and an auto standby function that automatically turns the power on / off depending on the presence or absence of an input signal.
There was also a model with modern cherry finish.
