YAMAHA NS-E1000

Commentary

A speaker system developed as an effect speaker for use with the NS-V1000YST or NS-C1000.

A 12 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
A curved type of NS-C1000 and white sheet cone is used for the diaphragm. This sheet cone is extremely lightweight with little unevenness in the density and thickness of the cone paper and enables powerful medium - and low-frequency playback.
As with the NS-C1000, an alnico magnet is also used for the magnetic circuit.

The high-frequency band is equipped with a 3-cm dome type tweeter which is based on titanium and evaporated beryllium.
By reducing weight and increasing rigidity, unnecessary high-frequency vibrations are eliminated outside the audible band, and high-frequency reproduction extending to 30 kHz is realized.
Alnico is also used in the magnetic circuit of this unit.

Uses an anti-magnetic design.

The enclosure is made of the same material as the NS-C1000. The unit and the enclosure are made of the same material and the sound quality is unified. The front baffle surface is made into a slant shape to suppress the generation of internal standing waves.
In addition, by adopting the slant shape, the setting toward the listener is easy when it is installed on the wall.

Not only Yamaha but also commercially available general-purpose speaker holders are equipped with mounting parts.
