Commentary
This 3-way bookshelf type speaker system was developed in consideration of the AV age and with measures such as a magnetic protection design.
A newly designed 23 cm cone type unit using pure carbon for the diaphragm is adopted for the low range.
For the mid-range area, a 6-cm skoker with a composite structure combining pure carbon cone with TiC (titanium carbonate) dome and a 3 cmTiC dome type tweeter are adopted.
For the magnetic circuit of each unit, a double magnet system is adopted to cancel the magnetic flux leaking to the outside in order to provide a magnetic shielding design.
The unit is placed in the inline center layout to pursue a clearer stereo image, and the edges on both sides of the baffle are rounded to eliminate diffuse reflection at mid-range edges and improve directivity.
