YAMAHA KX-690
¥ 55,000 (released in 1997)
Commentary
The cassette deck adopts three head system and closed loop dual capstan system.
A 3-head system has been adopted for the head section, and excellent recording / playback over all bands has been realized by adopting a recording / playback head exclusively for recording and playback.
The mechanism uses a high-precision closed-loop dual capstan system to keep the tape tension constant and prevent noise fluctuations caused by tape vibration.
Equipped with the Dolby HX-PRO that automatically adjusts the bias amount according to the high-frequency strength of the recorded signal.
In addition, the bias adjustment enables optimum recording for various tapes.
Equipped with Dolby B/C NR as a noise reduction system.
A high bias of 160 kHz is used to suppress beat distortion.
Equipped with auto tape tuning.
It is equipped with a play trim function that can adjust the high-frequency characteristics when playing back tapes recorded on other decks.
Yamaha's original mechanical ART base is used for the drive part to minimize vibration.
Synchronous REC with Yamaha CD player is possible.
Wireless remote control is included.
