Commentary

A toP-AR T-Series small cassette deck.

A 3-head system has been adopted for the head section, and both recording and playback heads have been specialized and their characteristics have been optimized.
The 3-head system also enables simultaneous recording and monitoring.

Uses a high recording bias system.
By shifting up the recording bias frequency to 160 kHz, this method strictly controls the mutual interference between the bias current and the music signal, and demonstrates its power for recording CDs with large high-frequency energy.

As a noise reduction system, Dolby B/C type is mounted.
In addition, the Dolby HX Pro is also mounted to improve the high-frequency characteristics during recording by appropriately controlling the bias amount according to the state of the input signal.

Equipped with an auto tape tuning function.
This function automatically adjusts the optimum recording bias and level by detecting the characteristics of the tape at three frequency points (low, middle, and high) by performing test recording and simultaneous playback for approximately 20 seconds.

Equipped with Yamaha's unique Play Trim function, you can improve the high-frequency characteristics according to the recording condition of the tape to be played back.

Equipped with a REC return function, you can rewind to the point where you started recording with one touch.
It is also equipped with a 0 return function that automatically rewinds to the point where the counter is reset.

Uses a slide loading tray system.

6 mm thick solid aluminum is used for the front panel.

Synchronous REC function with CDX-10 is supported.

It is compatible with Yamaha's original RS remote control and can be controlled by the AX-10 remote control.
