Commentary
Stereo cassette deck with Pure Sendust head.
As with the high-end model K-9, we have adopted a low-impedance design Pure Sendust head for the recording / reproducing head.
The core material of this head is high-purity Sendust molded by Yamaha's high-vacuum centrifugal casting method. By improving the saturation magnetic flux density, input / output characteristics at high frequencies are improved.
A 2-motor separate drive system is adopted for the running system, and the outer diameter of the flywheel is 59 mm and the moment of inertia is about 1000g ・ cm.2The use of a large-scale model realizes stable driving.
The recording amplifier is an op amp, the playback equalizer is a 2-stage direct amplifier with a low-noise transistor at the first stage, and the headphone amplifier is a high-output op amp.
Equipped with Dolby NR as a noise reduction system.
This Dolby NR is linked with the MPX filter.
Feather touch full logic control is adopted.
Equipped with VU meter with 2-step peak indicator.
Remote operation is also possible by using the optional wired remote control.
