Commentary
A record player announced as the top model of the GT series.
The motor is a newly developed DC4-phase 8-pole coreless Hall motor that takes into consideration the effect of ripple noise during actual performance rather than increasing starting torque. The motor shaft is a precision shaft of 20 mm in diameter and 60 mm in length, one of the world's largest.
374 mm φ / 5.8 kg / Inertial Mass 1.2t/cm with Forged Aluminum Cutting Finish for Turntable2(including mat) precision turntable has been adopted.
The tone arm is equipped with YSA-1 of gimbal support type straight arm as standard.
In order to eliminate magnetic elements from the signal path, the arm material and pin jack are made of brass, and the head shell is made of non-magnetic aluminum cutting.
Moreover, by using 1.2 mm φ OFC lead wires and ITK #3000, a signal reciprocating resistance of 0.15 Ω is realized.
GT-2000X is equipped with auto lifter YAL-1 which was an option in GT-2000 as standard.
The YAL-1 is non-contact optical and realizes smooth operation and excellent operability.
As a disk stabilizer, 74 mm φ x34mm aluminum brass composite disk stabilizer YDS-8 is equipped as standard.
The cabinet is a laminate type using high-density particleboards, and six layers including the bottom plate are 155 mm thick.
This cabinet alone weighs 19 kg, and in addition, Yamaha's woodworking technology is utilized to select the adhesive for lamination, and the structure and shape are carefully examined.
In addition, American walnut and real wood are used for the finish, and both piano and piano are mirror finished with polyester paint.
Straight arm WITH straight arm YASA-2, which is produced only as a separately sold option.
The outer power supply YOP-1 can be used.
The YOP-1 is a dedicated external constant-voltage power supply unit with a capacity approximately 2.5 times that of the GT player's built-in power supply. The powerful power supply enhances the stability of the rotating system, and it can also be used as an electronic brake when stopping.
Disk stabilizer YDS-3 can be used.
The YDS-3 has a double structure consisting of a brass ground metal part and an African paddock wood part. You can enjoy the change of sound by using both parts separately.
Pinpoint block YPB-1 can be used.
YPB-1 is a brass machined pinpoint block that can support GT players, speakers and amplifiers with points.
The Gun Metal Turntable YGT-1 can be used.
The inertia of YGT-1 is 3.6t ・ cm.2The gunmetal turntable allows you to further improve the rotational accuracy of the GT player.
Disk stabilizer YDS-1 can be used.
The YDS-1 is an electric pump type record adsorption system using a brass milling machine. In principle, it can exhibit the power equivalent to increasing the record weight to 4.5 kg.
