Commentary

A CD player with a high-bit system.

It uses Yamaha's high-bit system and achieves natural sound quality by obtaining smoother DAC output through high-precision digital arithmetic processing that goes beyond the basic CD format.
In addition, the adoption of a high-bit system enables pure DAC direct playback without passing through a low-pass filter, which had been considered essential in the past.

The digital filter uses an 8fsx18-bit digital filter to shift the sampling noise to a higher frequency range and obtain high-resolution output.
The high-bit digital filter achieves an in-band ripple of ± 0.0001 dB and an out-of-band noise of less than -100dB due to the high-bit digital filter's high-precision digital calculation capability of 225 order + 41 order + 21 order and the characteristics of the digital filter itself. At 16-bit resolution, noiseless and rippleless digital performance is achieved.

Two 18-bit operation DACs are mounted in the D/A conversion part.

Strong power transformer and shunt regulator circuit are used for the power supply.

A damping structure such as the use of a thick damper for the top cover is adopted.
In addition, GP legs are used for the legs.

Equipped with 2-mode tape edit function.
This function allows you to input the length of the tape and display the recording time available for each side, or allow the CD player to automatically perform random recording.

There are 2 color variations, titanium color and black.

Wireless remote control is included.
