Commentary

LD player supporting 5 types of 30 cm LD, 20 cm LD, CDV, 12 cm CD and 8 cm CD.

Audio and video signals are separated and processed thoroughly. In addition to independent boards and independent power feeds, Yamaha's proprietary Direct FM TBC is used exclusively for video signals, and a newly developed single-chip video signal LSI is used to realize a 5.5 MHz bandwidth for video signals.

The audio section is equipped with a unique high-bit system, which realizes an S/N ratio of 110 dB by using an 8-times oversampling digital filter and an 18-bit twin DAC configuration.

Yamaha's proprietary digital FM detection allows analog audio LDs to be digitized directly at the audio detection stage, enabling playback of analog audio LDs via optical digital output connections.
The newly developed 16-step remote attenuator enables voice control using a remote control.

Equipped with an all-disk full-time display to check the operation status.
In addition, it is equipped with a dimmer switch, and the brightness can be adjusted in 3 levels.

Sound quality measures such as anti-vibration measures are taken.

In addition to normal search and program play, it is equipped with a 5-minute index function that can search in 5-minute units even at a position without an index.

Wireless remote control is included.

There are 2 color variations of titanium and black.
