Commentary
DSP AV amplifier with built-in Dolby digital decoder.
It is equipped with the Cinema DSP engine YSS-908, in which 3 sound field cinema DSP and DSP for Dolby digital recorder are built into the LSI.
The low-power design minimizes unnecessary heat generation and digital noise, and realizes high-precision decoding with 24-bit resolution and high-quality sound reproduction.
Equipped with 11 sound field programs.
It is equipped with the latest sound field data exclusively for Dolby digital, such as the Digital Movie Theater of the 3 sound field cinema DSP program, and programs corresponding to various sources.
The power amplifier section is equipped with a 5-channel discrete configuration amplifier of the same design.
The power supply section is equipped with a heavy-duty power transformer and a large-capacity audio capacitor. Interference between circuits is also reduced by thorough analog-digital separation design.
Built-in FM/AM tuner.
It is equipped with 40 preset functions, an auto-preset function for FM stations, and an edit function for preset stations.
Digital input has two optical systems and one coaxial system.
To support next-generation audio such as DTS, it has a 5.1 channel external input terminal.
Equipped with a function to automatically determine the input signal from DVD software, it automatically determines the type of input source (Dolby Digital, PCM).
A large speaker terminal for banana plug is used for the speaker terminal.
There are 2 color variations of gold and titanium.
It is equipped with a preset remote controller that stores operation codes for AV equipment of major manufacturers including Yamaha products.
