Commentary
MM type cartridge which is a lower model of EPC-84SM.
High-energy platinum and cobalt magnets are used for the vibrator. At that time, the best magnet in the world (maximum energy product 14x106G ・ Oe) to reduce the weight of the vibrator.
In order to demonstrate the performance of platinum and cobalt magnets, we adopted a newly developed magnetic flux concentration type vibrator to improve power generation efficiency.
In addition, the vibrator supporting point is clarified by the special suspension wire system, and non-linear vibration is suppressed.
A micro-elliptical needle is used to raise the high-resonance frequencies above the range of audibility and to improve the frequency-characteristics and sound-groove tracking characteristics.
In addition, the cantilever made of ultra-hard light alloy suppresses harmful deflection and split resonance.
