Commentary
Stereo cassette deck with cobalt amorphous head and Dolby C noise reduction.
The amorphous material used in the cobalt amorphous head is a non-crystalline alloy magnetic material with no crystal structure, while ordinary metals have a crystal structure. It has excellent electromagnetic conversion characteristics and physical characteristics (high hardness, abrasion resistance, corrosion resistance) as a head core material.
The non-crystalline structure makes it possible to form a foil that is thinner than other materials, making it possible to form a laminate structure of 13 sheets. This increases specific resistance (ρ), reduces eddy current loss, and improves high-frequency characteristics.
Equipped with a Dolby C / NR system as a noise reduction system.
Type C is composed of ultra-precision circuit by IC, and has a structure developed from Type B, and realizes higher noise reduction effect.
Full logic operation by dedicated IC is adopted, and direct operation is possible from any mode.
