Commentary

This is a cassette deck which is the top model of the ff series developed by inheriting the concept of C-1.

The head section uses a 3-head system with independent recording and playback, which brings out the performance of each head.
With three heads, simultaneous playback monitoring during recording is possible.

The capstan uses an FG servo DC motor with excellent constant speed running performance, and the reel uses a mechanical governor DC motor.
In addition, the use of a precision closed-loop dual capstan stabilizes the tape that hits the head, provides a constant tension and eliminates minute vibrations.

You can connect a separately sold dbx system (such as the dbx unit TypeII RX-8Brown).
The dbx system is a noise reduction system developed by the American company dbx. It has an excellent noise reduction effect. The principle of the system is to compress the dynamic range of the input signal to 1/2 in decibels during recording, and to expand it to 2 times during playback. This makes it possible to play back the signal without distortion of peaks due to compression during recording and without being buried in noise even at low levels.

It is equipped with a peak level meter that can catch more instantaneous input signals than ordinary VU meters.
The indicated range of this meter is -20dB to + 5 dB. It rises with a sharp movement and returns slowly, so the indicated movement is easy to read.

Uses a see-through cassette lid for easy head checking.

Soft touch micro switch operation by logic control is adopted.

In order to take advantage of the performance of the tape, a 3-step switching mechanism with independent bias and equalizer is incorporated.

Equipped with a Rec Mute mechanism.

Uses an automatic tape winding mechanism to prevent slack.

Equipped with a timer mechanism.

A mono / stereo recording switching mechanism linked with My Kujac is adopted.

Microphone and line mixing is possible.

It is equipped with a memory mechanism that is convenient for starting a song.

Remote controller (sold separately) allows remote operation.
