Commentary
In addition to the A-650 design, this cassette deck is equipped with air check functions such as REC MUTE.
Equipped with the REC MUTE function. If you press REC MUTE lightly during recording, the lamp will light up to record without any signal. If you press REC MUTE completely during recording, it will become PAUSE the recording standby mode.
Timer recording / playback is possible by combining with the separately sold timer.
The A-470 has a built-in delay circuit so that even when the power is turned on, the mechanism does not operate for a few seconds, and recording / playback starts after it reaches a stable state. In addition, since the pinch roller and idler are separated during standby, the mechanism and tape are not overloaded.
Equipped with an LED peak level indicator that warns of instantaneous excessive input that cannot be followed by the VU meter.
The cassette holder cover is removable for easy cleaning and degaussing.
Equipped with an auto-stop mechanism that automatically releases the saturation when the tape finishes winding. The phototransistor detects the stop of the tape, and the mechanism is released by the plungers. Since the detection is purely electronic, it does not affect the running of the tape and the wow / flutter does not deteriorate.
It is equipped with a mono / stereo switching mechanism linked to My Kujac. If you use the microphone jack of the L channel, the signal is automatically divided to left and right for easy monaural recording.
It is equipped with a switching mechanism independent of bias and equalizer, and is compatible with ferrichrome tape.
Equipped with a memory counter.
FG servo DC motor is adopted for the mechanism part.
