Manual type crystal lock player.
The motor is a newly developed linear slotless motor with a direct drive system that directly turns the turntable.
In principle, this motor uses a linear drive system with extremely low torque fluctuation, thus achieving smooth and quiet rotation. In addition, torque is efficiently obtained by using a flat air-core coil and a magnet ring with strong magnetic force. Moreover, reliability and durability are enhanced by the simple structure.
The servo detector uses a Magne-disk rotational speed detection system that incorporates the technology of a Sony Magne-scale precision instrument.
A speed detection signal of 512 waves is magnetized in a wide range around the periphery of the turntable, and the average value of this signal is detected by an 8-tooth multi-gap head. By this detection method, the start-up characteristic is greatly improved, and stable rotation that is not affected by disturbance is obtained.
In order to improve rotational speed accuracy, we have adopted a crystal lock system in which a phase control circuit for crystal oscillation is added to a speed servo circuit detected by a magnedisk.
By phase-locking the detected signal, initial drift due to self-heating, rotational speed deviation due to changes in ambient temperature and power supply voltage, and rotational speed decrease due to needle pressure load are pushed to the detection limit.
A 32 cm aluminum die-cast turntable has been adopted.
In addition, it is equipped with a peripheral strobe with a stroboscopic illumination prism that makes it easy to see the stroboscopic pattern. Since 120 unique pulses are sent from a crystal oscillator to the neon tube, the stroboscopic pattern is sharp enough to appear stationary.
33 1/3 and 45 rpm 2-speed switching is possible.
Equipped with an oil dump type arm lifter.
In addition, it is equipped with an arm height adjustment mechanism that can change the height (6 mm) of the tone arm by the cartridge.
Comes with a rotatable arm rest for easy needle pressure adjustment.
Uses a low-capacity phono cord.
Equipped with 2 replacement shell stands.
Equipped with an aluminum die-cast head shell with a slide bar.
The cartridge is equipped with XL-15 which is a MM type cartridge.
It uses a unique conical damper and pole piece blocks made of resin mixed with carbon fiber.
The cabinet is an integrated structure cabinet with SBMC.
Comes with a removable acrylic dust cover.
