A full auto player with a flat roof and linear skating mechanism.
It has a flat roof style similar to cassette decks, amplifiers and tuners. It fits in any position in the rack and can be stacked with decks and amplifiers. The upper part of the free space can hold up to 20 kg.
In addition, a linear skating mechanism is adopted. When the button on the front panel is pressed, the turntable body is pulled out to the front. In addition, the disc centering guide function enables smooth record setting.
The operation switches are all concentrated on the front panel, and smooth operation is achieved by the microprocessor and arm drive motor. In addition, the linear skating mechanism equipped with another dedicated motor is linked to improve usability and safety.
When a record is set with the turntable main body pulled out and the start button is pressed, the turntable main body is automatically retracted, then the turntable is started and the tone arm is led in.
In addition, if an eject operation is performed during a performance, the turntable body is pulled out while performing the same operation as the auto-cut operation (arm returns).
In addition, if there is an obstacle in front of the turntable while the turntable is moving, or if a foreign object is caught between the turntable and the cabinet, the motor will run after stopping for approximately 15 seconds.
When playing with the turntable body pulled out, it operates as a complete manual machine.
Move the arm by hand and press the arm lifter button to start the turntable and lower the arm.
Next, if you press the arm lifter button, the arm will be raised.
Equipped with an auto record size selector, the player automatically detects whether a set record is an LP or a doughnut, and ensures that the Tornan arm is led in at the beginning of the given first track.
In addition, this auto record size selector detects when the start button is pressed without placing a record and returns the arm to protect the needle tip.
Equipped with a muting mechanism that eliminates shock noise when the needle tip touches or leaves the record board.
It is also equipped with a contactless end detection mechanism that detects the end of the performance of a record.
The cartridge is equipped with a high output MC cartridge as standard.
Since it is a high output type, it can be used in the MM position without requiring a head amplifier or step-up transformer.
The tone arm is equipped with a low mass and straight tone arm of high sensitivity and low mass design.
A magneto disk servo system and a linear BSL motor are used for the rotation system to achieve stable rotation.
In the magne-disk servo system, a multi-gap head detects the average value of the detection signal, which is densely magnetized around the turntable, and captures minute changes in the rotational speed.
In addition, a linear BSL motor is used for the motor. The slot that causes torque irregularity, which is the cause of cogging, which is said to be the destiny of a DC motor, is removed in principle, and stable rotation is realized by the simple structure without a brush.
It has an overhang gauge that is convenient when attaching a cartridge to the back side of the turntable sheet.
It is equipped with a motional blinker that you can check the movement by blinking the indicator.
Equipped with lighting that makes it easy to see inside the body.
By using the separately sold synchronized remote control unit, it is possible to play synchronized with a deck compatible with Sony's remote control.
