Commentary
CD player with improved operability by adopting jog dial type AMS.
The AMS is a rotary music selection method using a jog dial, which allows you to quickly select a song close to the target song and slowly select the next song by taking advantage of the sense of your fingertips.
The D/A converter is equipped with a hybrid pulse D/A converter. By incorporating a high-precision digital filter into the D/A converter IC, the signal path is minimized, the effect of the direct digital sync circuit is enhanced, and jitter is reduced.
The servo circuit is equipped with a high-precision digital servo, and by adjusting the servo amount of the optical pickup for each disc to be played, servocontrol reflecting disc conditions more accurately is realized.
A center mechanical mounting system is adopted, and stability against vibration is improved by placing a heavy mechanical deck in the center of the chassis.
The legs are equipped with an eccentric insulator whose mounting hole is offset from the center. By mutually canceling external vibration, it is difficult for the vibration to be transmitted to the chassis. The position and diameter of the hole of this insulator were determined through trial production and trial listening, and it is effective in attenuating the vibration components in the middle and high range, which affect the audibility.
It has a custom edit function and features such as peak search, time edit, program edit, time fade and manual fader.
It is equipped with functions such as delete play, shuffle play, music scan, autospace, timer play (auto start) and 4-mode repeat.
Equipped with an optical digital output terminal.
Wireless remote control is included.
