A specially designed shortcut horn (PAT No. 912392) designed for use in combination with a Gaussian compression driver HF 4000.
Compared with a short horn with the same depth dimension, this horn has a better load on the diaphragm near the cut-off frequency, reduces frequency deviation, and improves directional characteristics.
