Commentary

Speaker system using large spherical enclosure.

The unit uses a 20 cm double-cone speaker made by Richard Allen.

The enclosure is hand-blown and integrally molded with approximately 10 mm thick borosilicate glass.
Since the shape is spherical, there is no generation of standing wave like a general enclosure, and no sound absorbing material is used.

There were 2 different height stands sold separately.
The SPS-CB500 comes in 3 color variations of dark blue, black and yellow, and it could be used without casters.
