Commentary

A speaker system using a spherical glass enclosure.

The unit is equipped with a 14 cm coaxial speaker jointly developed with Dinavio.
This unit is equipped with a 14 cm dome type woofer for the low frequency band and a 2.5 cm soft dome type tweeter for the high frequency band. The use of rare earth metal magnets for the tweeter section reduces the size.

The network section is designed with in-phase cross at 6dB/oct.
In addition, stress-free 6N (99.99997% Cu) special double parallel cable of Acrotec is used for internal wiring.

The spherical shape of the enclosure provides excellent directional characteristics.
The enclosure is hand-blown, integrally molded full-red crystal by Meister, the pride of Sasaki Acoustics, and is approximately 10 mm thick for increased rigidity.
Since the shape is spherical, there is no generation of standing wave like a general enclosure, and no sound absorbing material is used.

Comes with a rubber stand.

Supporting Bracket SB-CB250 and Crystal Stand GS-CB250 were sold separately as options.
The SB-CB250 can be mounted directly on a wall or ceiling or fixed to a baton by combining it with a bracket manufactured by another company.
The GS-CB250 uses a combination of rubber, crystal, and felt as a support material, and the three point support gives a clearer sound.
