Commentary
Solid-state integrated amplifier with FET in tuner section.
It uses a complimentary service Darlington SEPP-ITL-OTL circuit that uses silicon power transistors.
We use epitaxial silicon transistors for power transistors, low-noise silicon transistors specially selected for equalizers, and all-stage silicon transistors for low-frequency circuits.
The FM front-end uses a 3-row varicon, a junction-type FET in the RF stage, and silicon transistors in the mixer and oscillator circuit.
Moreover, the AGC circuit improves the selectivity in a strong electric field.
The IF stage employs carefully selected silicon transistors for high-frequency amplification and a newly developed intermediate frequency transformer.
It is equipped with a purely electronic FM stereo / monaural switching mechanism. In FM AUTO, when FM broadcasting changes from mono to stereo, an electronic switch automatically operates to change to stereo.
It is equipped with a stereo indicator that can confirm the radio wave of stereo and thing.
The AM antenna uses a high-sensitivity ferrite bar antenna.
An external antenna can also be used.
A protective circuit using a short-cut fuse is provided to prevent damage to the power transistor in the event of an accident, such as accidentally shorting the output terminal.
In addition to the Scratch Filter, which eliminates annoying scratch noise, it also features a loudness control, headphone jack, DIN connector, FM-AFC, tape monitor, and SCA filter.
