Commentary
Cassette deck with recording / playback function in chrome tape.
It uses an electronically controlled DC motor, and the electronic circuit controls the DC current to the motor at a constant level to prevent the rotational speed from being affected by voltage and rotational load fluctuations.
The head uses a newly developed permalloy solid head that has about 10 times more abrasion resistance than the conventional permalloy head. The head gap is 1.5 μ, which demonstrates the high-frequency characteristics of chrome tape.
It is equipped with a skip button that is convenient for starting a song, such as fast forward (approx. double speed) of the tape while listening to the monitor sound during playback or skipping unnecessary parts to feed the tape.
It is equipped with a noise cut filter. This switch can cut high-frequency noise and make it easier to listen to programs of S/N concern.
Equipped with a chrome tape changeover switch that can be used for the optimum condition of conventional tape and chrome tape respectively.
Equipped with an auto-stop mechanism, the operation button is automatically released when the tape is finished. Even if you forget to press the stop button, you do not have to worry about damaging the tape or the mechanism.
Equipped with a microphone jack that can use a microphone with a 6 φ plug.
The recording / playback level adjustment function is combined to prevent erroneous operation.
