Stereo cassette deck with UNI X' tal ferrite combination head.
The head section uses a 3-head system that uses dedicated heads for recording, playback and erasing.
The head uses the UNI X' tal ferrite head with excellent linear gap, uniform gap, and abrasion resistance, ensuring wide-band playback and excellent SN ratio. The CT-1000 uses a wide-gap recording head with low distortion and high recording sensitivity, and a narrow-gap recording head with excellent playback frequency characteristics.
In addition, the head mount is a combination type in which a recording head and a reproducing head are individually manufactured and packaged in a high precision case, so that the parallelism between the recording head and the reproducing head is kept constant, and there is no worry of sound quality degradation due to azimuth deviation or crosstalk.
Closed loop dual capstan system is adopted for the mechanism part.
In this system, a pair of capstan and pinch rollers are arranged on the left and right sides of the head block, and two flywheels directly connected to the capstan are driven by an elastic belt. This ensures that the tape tension between the capstan and the capstan is kept constant at all times, resulting in excellent head touch.
By suppressing tape vibration, modulation noise is also prevented.
The drive system uses a 2-motor system, with an electronically controlled DC motor with built-in generator for constant speed operation and a DC torque motor for fast forward operation.
Equipped with an ATLC mechanism that automatically removes tape slack when the cassette is mounted.
Equipped with a Dolby REC calibration knob, the optimum Dolby level can be obtained by matching the level of the test signal (400 Hz) oscillated by the oscillator with the level of the signal recorded and played back on the tape with the Dolby REC calibration knob taking full advantage of the 3-head.
Equipped with a tape selector with bias and 3-stage equalizer tape selector that employs an automatic CrO2 position switching mechanism.
The CrO2 position tape automatically switches between the bias and equalizer by simply attaching it to the tape. When using STD or Fe-Cr tape, manual switching can be performed by using the tape selector with 2 levels of bias and 3 levels of equalizer.
Fully open loading is adopted, and the cassette half can be surely mounted, and it is designed to confirm the running condition of the tape and the label more surely.
In addition, it is equipped with a dust protector to protect the head housing when the cassette is not mounted.
It uses a direct change method, and you can skip the STOP button to move to the next operation.
Moreover, since the operation buttons can be preset, you can record your absence or play an alarm by combining a timer.
Equipped with a pitch control function, the playback tape speed can be varied within ± 6%.
Equipped with a level meter using a logarithmic compression meter lamp, it can read directly over a wide range of -40 to + 5 dB.
It is also equipped with a peak indicator that quickly responds to + 5 dB in a few msec.
Equipped with a memory stop and memory play mechanism.
Equipped with an MPX filter release switch.
Two parallel input / output terminals are provided.
It can be mounted on an EIA-standard rack by using a separately sold rack mount adapter.
