Commentary
STA Series high power FM/AM receiver.
NIKKO's audio linear IC is used in the equalizer amplifier section to improve various characteristics.
The power supply voltage is increased to expand the dynamic range.
A newly developed low-distortion high-power transistor realizes a 50W music power.
A low-distortion ultra-straight double-diffused transistor is used for the output circuit that affects sound quality.
Adopts NIKKO's newly developed DC balance circuit.
The front-end of the FM tuner uses a dual-gate FET to improve performance.
A monolithic IC is used for the IF stage, enabling high sensitivity, high selectivity and wide-band amplification.
It uses an automatic switching type FM multiplex circuit. When a stereo signal is received, it automatically switches to stereo and the stereo signal indicator lights up.
A muting circuit is installed to reduce background noise during channel selection.
The AM tuner section also uses FET to improve the characteristics.
A NW-type circuit breaker developed by NIKKO is used for the protection circuit.
