Commentary
FM/AM tuner developed by integrating the latest electronic technology.
Uses newly developed 18-pole LC-type filter with excellent group delay characteristics.
The front end uses a dual-gate MOS-FET.
In addition, in order to cope with changes in external factors such as temperature and humidity, a direct connection method without a printed circuit board is adopted. The need for an AFC circuit is eliminated by paying careful attention to the thermal and electrical characteristics of the local oscillator circuit and minimizing the drift.
The MPX circuit uses a PLL method, and realizes low distortion characteristics with excellent stability by automatically locking the phase of the subcarrier oscillator to the pilot signal sent from the broadcasting station.
Equipped with a built-in oscilloscope.
This oscilloscope is easily tuned by meter instruction method, operates linearly with RF input, and can be adjusted to the best point while monitoring multipath distortion.
In addition, stereo separation and phase display can be used and audio signals from other sources can be monitored using an external input jack.
Marantz's unique gyro-touch tuning that directly drives a large flywheel prevents backlash and mechanical drift after channel selection.
It is designed to match the power amplifier P-510M, and is equipped with an 8 mm thickness 19 "wide EIA rack mounting panel.
Uses a mahogany cabinet as a separately sold option.
