Commentary
Head amplifier designed to step-up the output of MC type cartridge.
It consists of two transistors. Instead of using silicon transistors, germanium transistor 2SB-377 was used after rigorous testing from both measurement and hearing.
The voltage gain can be changed between 40 dB and 0 dB using the selector switch on the front panel.
Suitable for cartridges with impedance from 1 ~ 2 Ω class to 30 ~ 50 Ω class.
4 AA batteries are used for power supply.
It comes with an adapter that can be easily inserted into the player case and a cord with a pin plug.
