Commentary

A bookshelf type speaker system developed in pursuit of musical performance.

A 16 cm cone type woofer is installed in the low range.
The diaphragm is made of a unique HiPIC (High Polymer Injection with Carbonate) cone, a polypropylene commonly found in European speakers, with a special carbonized reinforcement attached to it. This material provides not only broadband but also musical Yutaka sound quality.

A 2.5 cm dome type tweeter is installed in the high range.
The diaphragm is made of an ultra-thin titanium dome with nitriding treatment to greatly increase specific rigidity = sound velocity. In addition, by combining tangential edge of precision woven fabric, linearity of high frequency end is increased and smooth connection with woofer is obtained.

Both the woofer and tweeter use a full-scale magnetic protection structure with double magnet system.

This is the first speaker to use single-crystal high-purity oxygen-free copper PCOCC for the internal wiring material. In addition, the connection part is not soldered but is caulked with an OFC (oxygen-free copper) sleeve to degradation of transmission quality.

The network section has a structure in which low-frequency and high-frequency blocks are separated to eliminate mutual interference due to large current and magnetic field lines.
Components such as audio-only capacitors are carefully selected, and all components are directly connected by crimping without using a printed circuit board or extra lead wires.

The rear terminals for the woofer and tweeter are independent for biwiring, and they are connected by the same non-magnetic plating plate.

The enclosure is an all-round enclosure with smooth curves at all corners up to the rear baffle to eliminate sound reflections at the baffle interface and a flat printing method to prevent diffraction at the front baffle logo.
It is made of a combination of high-density particleboard and MDF.
